Ashley Shipman, LPC, LCPC, NCC

Welcome! My name is Ashley Shipman. I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen, understood, and accepted. Through a family systems lens, I work with individuals, couples, and families to recognize patterns that shape their relationships, improve communication, and build healthier connections.

I have a particular interest in supporting women navigating anxiety, major life transitions, motherhood, and the pressures that can come with being a high-achieving professional. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I also support clients in processing traumatic experiences and building resilience.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and holistic, combining meaningful insight with practical tools clients can use in their everyday lives. Together, we explore how attachment, family dynamics, and past experiences influence the present while creating space for healing, growth, and a more authentic and fulfilling life.

My specialties include:

  • Trauma

  • PTSD

  • High-functioning anxiety

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-esteem and Identity

  • Boundary issues

  • Relational issues

  • Generational family trauma and abuse

  • Parenting
